The Prevention and Safety Authority has signed a joint cooperation agreement with the University of Sharjah, to offer a professional diploma program for occupational safety and health, with the aim of enabling government employees to work in accordance with the global health and safety system. The agreement was signed by Sheikh Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Head of the Prevention and Safety Authority, on the side of the Prevention and Safety Authority, and on the University of Sharjah’s side, Dr. Hamid Majool Al Nuaimi, University President. In the presence of Eng. Lamia Al-Numan, Director of the Support Services Department, Nada Al-Suwaidi, Director of the Government Communication Department, Mahra Al-Shehhi, Director of the Acting Training Institute from the Prevention and Safety Authority, and Dr. Radi Al-Dhubaidi, Director of the Continuing Education Center at the University.
