As part of the awareness campaign plan launched by the Prevention and Safety Authority throughout the year, the Authority launched an awareness campaign entitled "Fire Extinguishers ... Safety" with the aim of educating all groups of society about the types of fire extinguishers, methods of use and alternatives.

Where the authority prepared a comprehensive awareness plan aimed at reaching the largest possible segment of the population of the Emirate of Sharjah and educating them about the types of fire extinguishers and the way to use them. The practicalities of using fire extinguishers and what suits every fire extinguishers, in addition to the alternatives used to extinguish the fire, in addition to publishing awareness publications through government departments magazines and social media channels.
