The Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah issued Resolution No. (35) of 2020 regarding violations of precautionary measures to confront (Covid-19 virus), and the decision included a number of administrative penalties for violating the precautionary measures at workplaces.

The Council also issued Resolution No. (36) of 2020 regarding the organization of preventive training activity in the Emirate of Sharjah, and the decision stipulated that the Prevention and Safety Authority shall be competent to supervise training institutes in the emirate, evaluate their performance and ensure the quality of training services in this field, and in particular it has the following to practice:
1- Establish controls, requirements and standards for preventive training and monitor their proper implementation.
2- Granting permits to training institutes wishing to practice preventive training in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in this resolution.
3- Evaluating and accrediting the training staff in economic establishments and training institutes and ensuring their competence and eligibility to practice preventive training tasks and works.

The decision also included the requirements for a permit to practice preventive training activities, obligations, violations, and administrative and judicial sanctions for the authority’s inspectors.
