Sheikh Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Prevention and Safety Authority of the Government of Sharjah, confirmed that the Preventive Training Institute works to qualify employees of government departments to take charge and with high efficiency continue to provide awareness based on the occupational health and safety standard, so as to ensure access to a safe society free from dangers.
This came during a speech delivered by Sheikh Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi at the signing ceremony of the Charter for Occupational Health and Safety Trainers, where 24 employees from government departments in the emirate were recruited to join the program, at the rate of (135) credit hours.
Sheikh Al Qasimi said: We are pleased to congratulate you on signing the Charter for the Professional Diploma to prepare trainers for occupational health and safety, you are the fruit of the success of this initiative, and we look forward to being your ambassadors in your training courses that are in the interest of society at large.
Mahra Al-Shehhi, Director of the Agency’s Preventive Training Institute, expressed her happiness at the achievement, which is the first graduate from the Preventive Training Institute, and revealed the institute’s plans to qualify more government departments employees.
