The Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority concluded the "Securing Your Home" campaign launched by the authority, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Sharjah Civil Defense, which lasted for two months. More than 1,000 community members in the Emirate of Sharjah benefited from the campaign to educate parents about the dangers of home fires for family members and to train in first aid, with the aim of reducing accident rates and improving quality of life.
Sheikh Saif bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Director of the Prevention and Safety Authority, said: The authority decided to launch an expanded campaign on home fire safety, in order to preserve the safety of society and the sustainability of assets in the Emirate of Sharjah, and to raise the level of occupational safety and health culture among community members.
