Sheikh Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Prevention and Safety Authority, stated that the authority intends to launch an extensive awareness and training campaign, in cooperation with the Sharjah Special Education Authority entitled "Safe Schools", as part of the strategic plans aimed at reaching a safe society free from dangers.

He added that this initiative seeks to continuously improve the educational environment, which ensures the safety of our student children, as they spend nearly a third of their day on the school campus, which requires securing this environment, and all its facilities, and work to educate students, administrative and teaching bodies, and their workers In order to act effectively in accordance with previously studied plans in various emergency situations, to be the Prevention and Safety Authority according to the responsibility that falls on it towards our student children.

This came after the regular meetings held between the Prevention and Safety Authority and the Sharjah Private Education Authority towards launching the "Safe Schools" initiative, which the authority intends to launch at the beginning of the new academic year 2019/2020 AD, to include 112 schools under the responsibility of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, to present 3 Training initiatives, the first: targeting the staff of the Sharjah Special Education Authority, and the second: safety officers and officials in schools, after an extensive study about the requirements and needs of each school, preparing students, and educating school safety officers about their responsibilities, and the third: raising awareness of a close proportion of students in all schools.

Within this initiative, awareness-raising campaigns will be carried out for all schools that fall within the responsibilities of the Sharjah Special Education Authority, with the aim of continuous improvement and elimination of potential dangers in schools, to ensure a safe and safe learning environment for students.

Ali Ahmed Al Hosani, Director of the Sharjah Special Education Authority, indicated that the authority is keen to adopt societal initiatives that will ensure the protection of our student children, and to move forward with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Sharjah, towards enhancing the safety of our students, side by side Along with the development of quality standards for education in the emirate's schools.

From here we began working with the Prevention and Safety Authority to do our duty to protect students from any potential danger in the educational environment, to be able to face risks, in addition to qualifying job cadres to work in harmony to ensure a safe learning environment for students, and that school monitoring teams of the authority be able to follow this initiative to ensure school compliance For safety and security standards.
