The Sharjah Safety and Protection Authority participated in the activities of the 38th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair, under the slogan "Open a book ... open minds", which runs from October 30 to November 9, at the Expo Center Sharjah.

The authority offers a variety of activities centered around how to maintain the safety of children from accidents in the facilities, in order to achieve the authority’s vision of reaching a safe society free from dangers, in the presence of the characters “Salama and Hammoud”, the two accredited characters in the authority to deliver its messages to its children’s friends from different age categories.

As the activities included 4 items full of entertainment and education, the beginning is with the section "Prevention and Safety with Safety and Hammoud", which gives children the opportunity to learn about potential dangers and how to prevent them through an interactive educational and technical workshop.
