In accordance with the vision of the Prevention and Safety Authority to reach a safe society free from hazards, and to achieve the policy and objectives of the environment and occupational health and safety for the management of special tasks of the Sharjah Police GHQ, and organized by the Department of Special Tasks, the Authority held a training program for the staff of the Special Tasks Department of the Sharjah Police GHQ, With the participation of more than 200 employees.

The aim of the training program, entitled "Occupational Health and Safety", to promote preventive concepts, and to introduce the standard of occupational health and safety, to reach the highest levels of safety, which ensures the health and safety of workers.

The training program included the definition of the importance of occupational health and safety, and risks in the work environment and how to deal with them quickly and professionally, in order to raise the efficiency and readiness of employees in the field of occupational health and safety management, in order to provide protection for its employees from injuries and health risks at work and the application of policies, controls and procedures that would To ensure best practices in the work environment to be in line with international standards.

Mahra Al Shehhi, Director of the Preventive Training Institute at the Prevention and Safety Authority, pointed out that the Authority seeks to spread the culture of safety and the application of occupational health and safety standard in all government agencies in the Emirate, to work to protect lives and property from any risks and deal quickly and professionally in cases of risks in the work environment.

For his part, Colonel Ashour Sabt Bin Ashour, Director of the Special Directorate of the Sharjah Police General Command, explained that the cooperation between the Authority and the leadership came out of the keenness of both sides to spread preventive behavior and reduce the risks of work, to ensure a safe, healthy and positive working environment.
