In implementation of Sharjah Executive Council Resolution No. (15) Of 2021, Regarding Sharjah Occupational safety and health system representing the regulatory framework that defines the conditions and requirements to secure a safe working environment for workers and maintain their safety from risks. SPSA is working to implement the system in all establishments in the emirate.
The role of the system is to monitor compliance with safety procedures and prevent accidents. It also includes Codes of practices and Guidelines that specify the minimum safety requirements for facilities stipulated in the system.
The system aims to implement preventive and control measures to ensure the safety and health of workers in the emirate, preserve property and assets and reduce accidents, so the UAE becomes an international icon of security and safety, and builds a safe and attractive work environment for investment.
