Sharjah, November 11 / WAM / Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority honored the second batch of government authorities that successfully met the requirements of the National Business Continuity Management System standard issued by the National Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Authority. The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority and Chairman of the Business Continuity Committee in the Emirate.

 

The honored government authorities included several institutions that demonstrated excellence in adopting innovative plans and strategies to ensure business continuity, emphasizing their continued commitment to strengthening institutional capacities and enhancing readiness to face potential challenges.

 

Lieutenant General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police and the Head of the Local Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Team in the Emirate, emphasized the importance of implementing the National Business Continuity Management System standard, to enhance the ability and readiness of government authorities in the emirate to respond quickly and effectively during the emergencies, crises, and disasters.

 

The honoring ceremony was attended by Brigadier Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of Central Operations at Sharjah Police, and Obaid Rashid Al Hussan Al Shamsi, Deputy Chairman of the National Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Authority.
