The engineer, Lamia Al-Noman, Director of the Support Services Department at the authority, stated that, under the direction of Sheikh Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the President of the authority, an awareness program "remote" and through social networking sites was launched, related to the employees themselves, whose working conditions require them to remain in the workplaces, whether for hours Certain or during the scheduled working hours, and urging them to adhere to safety and prevention conditions.
She stated that one of the most important things that the program focused on is the necessity of staff commitment to it, wearing medical masks, as well as gloves, as well as attention to sterilization and personal hygiene, whether by constantly washing hands with soap or sterilizers, to protect themselves from infection.
She added that among the requirements that the authority was keen to educate employees about, is the need to leave safe distances between them and their co-workers, whether they are with them at workplaces or their dealers, by virtue of the nature of their work, and its awareness programs were targeted at employees targeted in several languages ​​as well, given the nature of the formations The process within the Emirati society and the presence of various nationalities, languages ​​and dialects, as it launched its program in Arabic, English, Hindi, Pashto, Malayalam and sign language as well, to spread awareness of benefit to everyone, as the number of views across social media platforms for its awareness activities and activities exceeded about 30 thousand views.
Al-Noman indicated that one of the things that the authority was keen on communicating to employees also was the necessity of the commitment of those who were on travel during the recent period, and before the travel ban, the period of home quarantine, which was decided by the medical authorities 14 days ago.
Al-Noman stated that the authority carried out awareness programs for employers, officials and workers during the last period, through which I explained the precautionary measures for the outbreak of the Coruna virus in particular, and epidemics and infectious diseases in general, through targeted educational flyers and films.
