Aman device at Al-Mashgouni Showroom warns of a fire

A fire alarm was issued to the Sand operation room, from an early warning safety device at the "Al-Mashgouni" exhibition, where the fire broke out on June 4, 2020, and the "Al-Mashgouni" exhibition guard managed to extinguish the fire, without registering or causing any injuries.

Preferably, a security operations employee received a fire alarm at 4:17 am, which in turn alerted the guard, who immediately rushed to confirm the presence of the fire, while the employee confirmed the fire report for operations in the General Administration of Civil Defense and informed them of the incident and the location in detail with the guard’s phone number .

However, the guard informed the operating room that the fire had been brought under control, as a result of the speedy reporting and monitoring by a safety system operations officer.

Sheikh Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Prevention and Safety Authority said: “In conjunction with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to enhance the security of residents and protect lives and property, the Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority launched the Aman initiative In August 2019, to monitor fire alarms in buildings throughout the Emirate of Sharjah, verify and report them immediately to take the necessary measures to enhance the quality of life of citizens and residents in the emirate.

Sheikh Saif bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Director of the Prevention and Safety Authority, pointed out the importance of a safety system in protecting lives and property, as the project is implemented by the Sharjah Authority for Protection and Safety and managed by Sand, as it is an innovative system for fire detection working around the clock.

It allows the "General Administration of Civil Defense in Sharjah" to monitor, verify, and report on fire alarms in buildings spread across Sharjah in an immediate manner to take the necessary measures.

This is what actually happened in the Al-Mashghouni Gallery incident, and had it not been for the quick warning that the guard received from the operations employee for a safety system, the fire would have worsened "God forbid."

He added, "From this platform, I would like to invite all building owners to install a" safety "system, to early detection of fires and reduce their damages in order to achieve the highest safety rates leading to the prevention of hazards.
