His Excellency Salem Yousef Al Qusayr, Chairman of the Labor Standards Development Authority in Sharjah, explained that the campaign launched by the authority targeted all facilities frequented by workers in industrial and commercial areas in the Emirate of Sharjah and its suburbs, stressing that the authority is continuing to implement all awareness programs for workers and employers with the blessing and interest of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, with the support of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council.

Al-Qusayr pointed out that the Labor Standards Development Authority aims to reach all workers and employers in the emirate with its awareness campaigns for the prevention of Covid 19 to spread health awareness and deliver the latest developments and preventive instructions to them.

He added that the authority has managed, so far, to reach with these campaigns to more than 300 thousand workers working in about 6 thousand companies, indicating that the plan would not have achieved this success without cooperation and coordination with the concerned authorities, especially the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, and the Prevention Authority. And Safety in Sharjah, Sharjah Police, Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Bee'ah Company, and the competent authorities to confront the spread of the Corona virus.
