The Prevention and Safety Authority, in cooperation with the Federal Youth Foundation, "Al Ghail Youth Center," presented, on Wednesday, the training program "Elderly Security and Safety", remotely, in application of precautionary measures given the current circumstances.

The program was aimed at the general public, to familiarize them with the dangers that the elderly may face and ways to protect them from them. In addition to providing an overview of home care methods, the program also addressed ways to prevent viruses and diseases, especially at the present time, as this group of society needs more care and special methods that suit their needs.

His Excellency Sheikh Saif bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Director of the Prevention and Safety Authority, affirmed that the authority is fully prepared to offer any courses or programs that would raise the level of safety and awareness among all members of society and protect them from risks, and that the elderly group is given special attention in the UAE.
