Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to enhance the security of the population and protect lives and property by raising the level of preventive awareness, the Prevention and Safety Authority held a series of awareness programs aimed at protecting individuals from accidents, in cooperation with a number of government agencies. .

During the second week of the "Occupational Safety and Health for University Students" campaign, the authority presented a specialized training program that targeted the students of the University of Sharjah, and the administrative and academic bodies, in cooperation with the Deanships of Male and Female Students, that includes prevention methods while on campus, in light of the "Covid-19" pandemic. and the risks surrounding its facilities, as well as attention to mental health. (36) trainees benefited from it.
The Department of Training Institutes and Individuals at the authority presented the training program "Prophylaxis, Health and Occupational Safety Procedures", in cooperation with the Umm Al Quwain Youth Center, which benefited (124) trainees, as it discussed the occupational safety procedures to be followed in various work sites.

Graduates of the professional diploma to prepare occupational health and safety trainers - which was launched by the authority to train safety ambassadors in various work sites in the Emirate of Sharjah - presented awareness programmes, as Maryam Al-Suwaidi presented a program for the employees of the Ministry of Climate Change entitled "Safety in the Laboratory", which benefited 23 employees, which included Its focus is to identify laboratory risks, discuss the most prominent accidents in the world and the reasons for their occurrence, and the necessary preventive measures in laboratories. Al-Abbas Othman also presented the "Basics of Occupational Health and Safety" program for the employees of Al Dhaid Municipality, which benefited (20) employees
