Safety Bus visits Zulal Factory Salama and Hammoud delight children in Sharjah Reading

"Your Safety Bus" visited the management of Zulal Factory, where the bus showed the support workers a set of awareness films, through which they were introduced to the measures of prevention and avoiding dangers in the various work sites, benefiting (75) workers, and this is part of the annual plans of the Prevention and Safety Authority. Through the bus, the authority presents a set of short awareness films on the prevention of dangers in facilities for building guards and support workers, and those concerned with occupational safety and health, in several languages, namely Arabic, English and Urdu. Hazards in buildings in a healthy professional manner and the correct ways to conduct a comprehensive daily survey of the safety of the building, in order to achieve the vision of the authority aimed at achieving a safe society free from dangers. On the other hand, the Prevention and Safety Authority is once again organizing awareness programs for young children, with the Safety and Hammoud workshop entitled “The Safety of My Child at Home”, as part of the activities of the Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival, in cooperation with the Child Safety Department of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah. Over the past three years, the personalities of Salama and Hammoud have contributed to raising the level of preventive awareness among children, to strive towards their compliance with safety standards and risk prevention in various locations. Huda Al Ali, Deputy Director of the Support Services Department at the Prevention and Safety Authority, indicated that the authority is constantly working to educate children about the principles of safety, as the workshop aimed to educate children about the basic principles of first aid and the necessary tools that must be provided in the first aid kit and the need to know the communication data of the concerned authority. Such as firefighting, ambulance and police in the event of an accident. They were also trained on how to control themselves, maintain calm when an injury occurs, and deal wisely, according to a good knowledge of proper behavior with an injured child. In turn, Sheikha Al Ali, Events Executive, explained that the event was organized and attracted the largest possible number of children, while adhering to the stipulated social distancing procedures, as educational materials were presented electronically, to ensure that paper publications were not distributed to children.
