Based on the objectives and competencies of the Prevention and Safety Authority aimed at raising awareness of the rules of behavioral safety and providing the necessary training to prevent individuals from accidents, the Commission launched a "prevention goal" initiative that is to provide eight training programs for government departments employees in the eastern and central regions, benefiting 200 employees and employees, in cooperation With Rabdan Academy.

The training programs included many axes related to the concept of occupational health and safety, and addressed the conduct of job site evaluation, ways to prevent hazards, as well as investigating accidents, and ensuring rapid response if they occur.

Sheikh Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Prevention and Safety Authority, expressed his happiness for this joint cooperation, which pays great attention to developing career cadres in the eastern and central regions, and qualifying them to work in accordance with occupational health and safety standards, which will contribute significantly to protecting them from dangers, which enhances their security and safety In workplaces, it supports the complementarity of roles between all agencies, which are considered to be one of the main pillars of the authority’s work, and is in line with the authority’s vision of reaching a secure society free from dangers.
